Privacy
We built Coverlist to need as little about you as possible. Here's everything, in plain words.
What we don't collect
No accounts, no names, no email addresses, no payment details. You never buy anything on Coverlist, so we never see a purchase.
What stays on your device
Your saved items and outfits (as product ids only), and your language choice, are stored in your browser's local storage. We can't see them, they don't sync anywhere, and clearing your site data removes them.
Anonymous usage analytics
We use PostHog to understand how Coverlist is used: which screens open, that a search happened and what kind of filters it used (never the words you typed), which products are opened, and when someone continues to a store. Your browser is given a random anonymous id, kept in local storage — no cookies, no session recording, no attempt to identify you. This data is processed by PostHog on servers in the United States, is used only to improve Coverlist, and is never sold or shared.
Live requests
When you search, your query is sent to Shopify's catalog service to fetch results, and to Anthropic's Claude model to rephrase it the way stores write product titles and to check that what came back is women's wear from stores in Israel — the words you typed and the stores' own product titles, nothing else, and nothing about you. Product photos load in your browser directly from the stores' image hosting. Shopify's and Anthropic's privacy policies apply to those requests. Once you continue to a store, that store's privacy policy applies.

If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
