How to choose a dress

Tell us what you're looking for in your own words and we'll search the stores themselves, right now. You see the price the store shows and buy straight from it.

Length first

A mini ends above the knee, a midi around mid-calf, a maxi at or near the ankle. Stores don't always measure length the same way, so read the description. In the results you can filter by length: mini, knee, midi or maxi.

The fabric decides how it falls

Viscose is light and drapes well, and it's comfortable in summer. Cotton breathes but creases. Jersey stretches and rarely creases, so it's easy to wear for hours. Satin falls smooth and glossy, and suits an evening out. Chiffon is delicate and sheer, so check that it's lined.

Shabbat, evening or every day

For a long meal, pick a length that stays covered when you sit, like a midi or maxi, and a fabric that still looks good after an hour. For an evening, start with the colour and the fabric. For every day, a fabric that breathes and a cut you can walk in.

Size: measure a dress you already own

Size charts differ from store to store: some use numbers like 46 or 48, others letters like XL. That goes for plus-size dresses too. The safest way is to measure a dress that fits you well and compare it with the store's chart. In the results you can pick a size to narrow what's on screen.

Questions and answers

What dress length suits Shabbat?

There's no single right length. Midis and maxis stay covered when you sit, which makes them comfortable for a long meal. You can filter by length and add sleeves.

Can I buy here?

No. We show what the stores have, and the "Buy this at…" button takes you to the store itself, to pay there.

Why is the price different from what I saw before?

We check the price with the store every time you open the page. What you see is the price the store showed at that moment.
